Simone Francis-Grant, B.Ed

Simone is an educator. She acquired a First Degree in Education at the University of the West Indies and a Teaching Diploma at St. Joseph’s Teachers College. She is presently a Health Family Life Education Specialist.

 

She has been a classroom teacher for over 10 years and is currently employed at the Mona Heights Primary School with special responsibilities of planning activities and technological support. During her elementary school years she was a member of the performing arts and student council clubs. During her high school years she was elected a student’s councilor and was an active member of the Key Club.

Simone is a Christian and has been an active member of the Escarpment Road New Testament Church of God and volunteers on both the choir and praise and worship ministries. She is married and is a mother of one child. Simone has a passion for child advocacy and community development and volunteers her time in these areas as well.
